The Captain James L. Bishop Camp was formed in Kendallville, Indiana in April 2001. It was chartered by transplanted Southerners and their descendants.We are born and raised by Southern parents and taught southern ways. We are not racist or political. We want the right to hold our Confederate relatives in the high reguard they deserve. 
They are and will forever be....

There are thousands of organizations, each with a specific purpose or goal. There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of an organization he or she believes in. We beleive the Sons of Confederate Vererans strive to keep the memory of the Confederate soldiers, as proud as they were.
