Organization Purpose
The purpose of The James L. Bishop Camp
1943 is to increase understanding of our Southern Heritage. We hope to add new members so we will be able to
help preserve the honor of the Confederate Soldiers. By developing a better understanding of the War Between the States,
the organization as well as its members will become even stronger.
Our Mission
Our mission is to further promote the interests of the
Sons of Confederae Veterans and our Heritage to the community and the Country. We strive to
make a difference by educating the public on the never ending reasons the War Between the States was fought .Only through
education will this be completed. This tragic era was one of the most important times in our Country's History. We must work
to preserve it's truths and preserve the freedom to display our Southern Heritage.
